DIN-ISO

The abbreviation DIN stands for Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. (German Institute for Standardization), which carries out standardization work on a national level. ISO, on the other hand, is an abbreviation for International Organization for Standardization and defines globally recognized standards. Adopted ISO standards introduced in Germany are considered DIN-ISO standards.
