Thixotropic

Thixotropic describes the flow properties of liquids, which reduce their viscosity under continuous external influences. A thixotropic liquid becomes more fluid with the duration of its deformation, but returns to its initial viscosity after stress and hardens. An everyday example of a thixotropic liquid is ketchup.
