Thermal conductivity
Thermal conductivity describes the ability of a material to transport thermal energy or to dissipate heat. The more viscous the material is, the better the heat can be transported and thus also dissipated. The thermal conductivity can be measured with the help of heat flow meters. At RAMPF, thermal conductivity plays an important role especially in the field of electro casting resins, which is why casting compounds with high thermal conductivity based on polyurethane, silicone and epoxy are also part of the product portfolio.
