Joint Efforts of Politics and Business to Reduce Bureaucracy

Grafenberg, Germany, 04/04/24.

Grafenberg, Germany, April 4, 2024. Reducing bureaucracy via a hands-on, pragmatic, and joint approach – This was the focus topic of the visit by FDP members of the Bundestag, Pascal Kober and Benjamin Strasser, Metzingen city councillor Isabel Aurenz (FDP), and Grafenberg mayor Volker Brodbeck to RAMPF’s head office.

How can bureaucratic structures be optimized and administrative processes simplified in order to reduce the burden on businesses and strengthen Germany's international competitiveness? This question took center stage when RAMPF CEO Matthias Rampf and RAMPF CFO Horst Bader met representatives of politics and administration at the RAMPF Innovation Center in Grafenberg.

Pascal Kober, Member of the Bundestag from the constituency of Reutlingen:

Numerous discussions with companies have confirmed time and again that excessive bureaucratic regulations are both a significant cost factor and a major brake on growth.

The labor market and social policy spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group and Deputy Chairman of FDP Baden-Württemberg called for a “more economic mind-set in authorities and administrations” and the “courage to take new, digital paths”.

Benjamin Strasser, Parliamentary State Secretary and Federal Government Coordinator for Better Regulation and Bureaucracy Reduction, emphasized that an effective and rapid de-bureaucratization is only possible through the joint effort of politics and business:

Reducing bureaucracy is a zero-cost economic stimulus program, both at national and European level. That is why we are actively seeking discussions with and the support of associations and companies in order to reduce bureaucratic hurdles and promote growth.

During a tour of the RAMPF Innovation Center, the visitors were impressed by the laboratories and application technology facilities, illustrating the innovative strength of the family business.

RAMPF's more than 40-year success story is based on the ability of our employees to develop customized products and solutions for our customers’ requirements. To this end, we have created a high-performance R&D infrastructure that enables us to implement new market requirements quickly and efficiently,

RAMPF CEO Matthias Rampf explained.

In order to continue to be successful in increasingly competitive international markets, we are dependent on a legal framework that is geared towards maximum efficiency and speed; as a company, we are happy to help shape this. Today's exchange between politics, administration, and business was very valuable for this process.
